We are currently seeking an experienced **Recruiter **based out of our Vancouver or Calgary office for a one-year contract. This role can be performed in a Remote-Hybrid model. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Support the HR team with: scheduling and conducting interviews, conducting phone pre-screens, writing and posting job descriptions, conducting reference checks, coordinating job offers, social media branding, attending local recruitment events
- Act as the direct liaison with human resources and hiring managers to ensure understanding of the recruitment requirements
- Organizes resumes received and ensures that clerical entry into the database/filing system is occurring

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- University Degree or College Diploma in Human Resources or Business Administration is preferred
- 3+ years’ experience in recruitment is considered an asset
- Experience recruiting in the engineering industry is considered an asset
- Experience recruiting in Oil & Gas and/or Mining Sectors an asset
- Knowledgeable in the use of Microsoft Office products, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Taleo experience an asset
- Excellent written/verbal communication and organizational skills
- Experience handling confidential business matters and information with discretion
- Able to maintain an approachable and appropriate attitude when interacting with all levels of personnel in a rapidly changing environment.

**ADDITIONAL INFORMATION**
- A requirement of working for Tetra Tech is that you are at least 18 years of age and legally entitled to work in Canada. A copy of a valid work permit may be required.
- If you are considered for the position, clearance on all applicable background checks (which may include criminal, identity, educational and security) and professional reference checks is required. Some Tetra Tech positions require an enhanced level of background assessment, which is dictated by law. These positions require advanced criminal record checks that must also be conducted from time to time after commencement of employment.
