The Miller Group Asphalt Screed Operator

Location: Owen Sound, ON

**As an Asphalt Screed Operator, You Will**:

- Make normal adjustments to obtain proper depth, grade, and finished cross section of asphalt material
- Operate a variety of paving equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Perform daily maintenance, clean and service the equipment; perform minor repairs to equipment
- Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment, complete maintenance records and daily equipment log
- Productively operate in a collaborative manner with all crew members

**What You'll Bring**:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating various types of asphalt pavers
- Knowledge of all paving equipment and paving process and industry requirements
- Must have a valid minimum class 5 driver's licence with driver’s abstract meeting Miller’s expectations
- Operate in a fast pace and demanding environment in a safe and effective manner
- Effective communication skills
- Effective team player who is willing to help in all areas
- Must have a high attention to detail and critical thinking skills
- Punctual and reliable
- Ability to work extended hours and weekends as required
