The focus of this work is to assist on major highway design-build projects across Southern Ontario.

**Responsibilities**:

- Performs civil and structural inspections on various municipal and provincial construction projects. Including inspection of bridges, grade, asphalt, sewers, watermains.
- Document all construction activities and quantities.
- Works with a team to develop the creation of engineering products that meet customer quality requirements. This includes defining the problem, establishing the work scope, preparing the budget and schedule, planning the work, providing technical direction, and reporting the work status.
- Will perform basic geometrics design of road and highway systems, for the Southern Ontario region.
- Typical products may include detailed calculations, drawings, procurement documents, design and installation packages, proposal evaluations, technical reports, and detailed analyses.

**Qualifications**:

- Engineer-in-Training, registered with the PEO, with the appropriate related work experience; or
- Engineering Student who will be completing their final year as an undergraduate engineering student.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to lift 30kg.
