Our students are among 600 of the brightest and most talented young artist scholars, who come to study in one of the many undergraduate and graduate programs offered by the Faculty. With the faculty and staff, they are committed to excellence in creative and scholarly work. **Responsibilities**: **Please note, it is anticipated this position will be filled internally by reappointment** The Technical Assistant working with the manager will be responsible for a range of support activities which can include: assisting with and undertaking sound and video recordings. Support for multi-media productions. Basic a/v equipment setup and operation. Additionally, some technical installations and repair work assistance may be included. **Qualifications**: **Education**: Knowledge of desktop audio and video production software would be an asset, as would a musical background. **Experience**: Skills, Abilities & Expertise preferred: Ability to work as part of a team, and independently. Ability to provide a positive attitude, interacts in a professional manner, and provides a high level of genuine customer service to students, staff and Faculty members. Must be detail oriented, and work well under some time pressures and deadlines. Ability to work within a flexible schedule to accommodate the University’s events and activities. Ability to prioritize and organize Experience with audio and video software, sound re-enforcement systems and equipment, microphone technique, mixing desks, and basic a/v equipment.
