**Job Summary**

Position Title**:Groundskeeper**

Reports to**:Grounds Superintendent**

Royal Colwood Golf Club is a private golf club located in Victoria, British Columbia. Designed by Arthur Macan in 1913, Royal Colwood is one of a select few in the world to receive a Royal designation. Rated as one of the top golf clubs in all of Canada, Royal Colwood is recruiting individuals who exemplify the world-class standards presented by Royal Colwood.

**Responsibilities**
- Operating equipment designed for golf course maintenance.
- Bunker Maintenance
- Small engine use including backpack blowers, line trimmers, etc.
- Careful usage of tools and machinery, including returning tools to a clean and organized state before the end of the shift
- Rotary Mowing
- Weedy Work

**Qualifications and Assets**:

- Landscaping experience is an Asset.
- Must have the stamina and dedication to work in all weather conditions.
- Must hold a valid BC Driver’s License
- Understanding the game of golf
- Must be able to lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs.

**Working Conditions**
- Physically Fit
- Ability to stand 6 - 8 hours at a time.
- Lifting to 50lb regularly
- Required to work outside when weather permits.
