**Job description**

We are searching for a customer service oriented individual to join our Technical Team as a Network Administrator.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a Senior Network Engineer, you will be required to perform advanced network diagnostics, configuration, setup, troubleshooting, and design for customers and clients in a variety of domains, business lines, and technical environments. Internally, within Powerland you will be required to support the sales team in a technical aspect, providing technical guidance and insight when responding to proposals, quotes, and providing input to technical sales activities.

The following list of responsibilities outlines the nature of the role:

- You will be responsible for following all internal processes, policies, and codes of conduct as communicated to you throughout your employment,
- You will be responsible for maintaining excellent time management skills to manage your time allocation on multiple projects, and the ability to prioritize a dynamic workload based on customer needs and constraints, including tracking time spent in accordance with internal procedures.
- You will be responsible for completing industry and vendor certifications and maintain and hold them as required for Powerland to maintain purchasing discounts and domain expertise, based on the vendor tier within Powerland’s vendor prioritization model.
- You will be responsible for developing Level of Effort estimates and assisting in the development of Statements of Work for projects and work packages for customers, both in association with equipment and software sales, as well as adhoc and decoupled from equipment and software sales.
- You will be required to perform at an expert level for network design, diagnostics, configuration, and deployment, including knowledge and configuration of a variety of vendor equipment including (but not limited to) networking, switching, firewalls, IDS/IPS, wireless access points, and cloud brokers.

Performing these duties will require that you engage with customer personnel, both technical and non-technical, to solicit requirements, identify constraints, and determine and align timelines for doing the work.

In the performance of these duties, you will be expected to maintain a professional relationship with the customer’s technical and stakeholder/business teams, including working with the customer to schedule outages, change windows, and perform training to ensure that the customer can operate and manage their infrastructure at the end of the engagement.

There is an expectation, due to the nature of the work, that requests may be made for work occurring in “off hours”. In the large majority of cases, this will be pre-scheduled, communicated and approved by all relevant parties in advance.

You will be required to exercise strong technical writing and communication skills by developing handoff documentation and runbooks, including implementation of runbooks as automation scripts where necessary, for customers to use following Powerland’s completion of their responsibilities within projects.

**Salary**: $95,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
