**Famoso Pizzeria + Bar** is an established full service restaurant located in the heart of Uptown Waterloo.

We are currently seeking a Front-of-House manger (Assistant to the GM) to assist with our daily operations. This full-time position is best suited for self-motivated individuals who have experience leading, managing and building a team in the hospitality industry and will work towards gaining a full understanding of our hospitality expectations.

Other requirements:

- **Communicate and train our steps and service and hospitality expectations to the FOH service team is necessary.**:

- **Provide a warm, memorable experience for all of our guests.**:

- **Being hands-on in the FOH and being able to assist the BOH when needed**:

- **Working side by side with all staff as a contributing member of both the service and kitchen team.**:

- **Meeting daily, weekly, and monthly business building goals**:

- **Contributing to our positive workplace culture**:

- **Maintaining and improving what we have created in terms of exceptional product quality and service standards.**:

- **Available to work full time with open availability 7 days a week, day and night, including holidays**:

- **Proven working experience as a restaurant manager, leader, or supervisor**:

- **Experience with customer service**:

- **Strong leadership, motivational and people skills**:

- **Food, beer, wine and cocktail knowledge is preferred**:

- **Proficiency in English**:

- **Smart Serve certified**:

- **Safe Food Handling certified**:

- **Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays (must have availability for weekends)**

This manager role offers a great opportunity to develop managerial and leadership skills in an environment that is welcoming, hospitable, social and fun.

**Salary**: $60,000.00 per year

- Hospitality: 2 years (required)
