Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and adaptable Front of House Catering Server to join our off-site catering team, specializing in corporate events and holiday functions. You will provide high-level service to guests in diverse venues, ensuring each event runs smoothly and efficiently. This role requires the ability to set up, serve, and break down at various off-site locations, all while maintaining professionalism and a festive atmosphere suited to corporate and Christmas events.

Key Responsibilities will include:

- Greet guests warmly and establish a professional, welcoming environment at off-site corporate and holiday events
- Ensure a festive and polished atmosphere during Christmas-themed events by aligning service with the holiday theme
- Adapt quickly to different off-site setups, addressing any venue-specific challenges (e.g., limited space, kitchen logistics)
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and a seamless guest experience in the front of house, even in non-traditional catering environments
- Assist with event breakdown, including packing up equipment, clearing tables, and tidying the venue before departure
- Follow food safety, sanitation guidelines, and health regulations at all times, especially in varied off-site settings
- Handle guest questions, special requests, and concerns with professionalism and escalate issues when needed

Additional Responsibilities may include:

- Set up and arrange tables, linens, glassware, and silverware according to event specifications, ensuring smooth execution in varied, often unfamiliar venues
- Serve multi-course meals, hors d’oeuvres, buffet-style dining, and beverages, adhering to professional standards and event timing
- Collaboration with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery and presentation, particularly for formal corporate functions

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in off-site catering or hospitality, with a focus on corporate events or holiday gatherings preferred
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to adapt to different client needs and event types
- Ability to problem-solve and adapt quickly to the logistics of off-site venues (e.g., limited resources, changing setups)
- Strong teamwork skills, working effectively with event coordinators and kitchen staff
- Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations, particularly in non-traditional or temporary kitchen setups
- Physical stamina and ability to work long shifts, including lifting, standing, and moving in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, especially during the busy holiday season

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, and move quickly for extended periods, especially in different venue layouts and conditions

**Job Types**: Part-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 1 month

Pay: $20.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 35 per week
