Vancouver, Canada Yaletown Counselling Inc. Full time

Overview: Yaletown Counselling Inc. is looking for a part time associate contract position(s) for in office and virtual counselling, with a fixed percentage per session. Hours are flexible for virtual and dedicated days are offered for in person appointments.

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

- Master’s degree in counselling psychology, clinical psychology, or social work
- Registration in good standing with your professional organization
- Professional Liability Insurance
- Capable of working independently
- Minimum of 2 years experience post graduation in a clinical setting
- Weekend and some weekday evening availability for in person appointments

It would be helpful if you have knowledge, experience and/or training in working with:

- Somatic therapy modalities
- Trauma focused areas of practice
- Specific communities
- Mental health - Anxiety, depression, addictions, etc.
- Grief and Loss
- Addictions
- Post MVA (ICBC)
- CBT, DBT, ACT, Interpersonal Therapy, Mindfulness.
