**Job Posting**

Chroma Counselling is looking for an Associate Counsellor with a Master’s Degree in Counselling, Counselling Psychology or Social Work to join a growing private practice. This is a part-time position with flexible hours including days, evenings and weekends. Must be available for in-person work in Downtown Vancouver with some possibility of remote work. Flexible schedule would include a mixture of afternoons, evenings and weekends.

**As an Associate Counsellor you will**:

- Provide counselling and therapy to individuals and/or couples and families
- Conduct consultation to prospective clients
- Complete notes and proper record keeping
- Complete billing and invoicing
- Participate in ongoing professional development and case consultation

**Education and Experience**:

- Master’s degree in Counselling, Counselling Psychology or Social Work from a recognized program.
- Two (2) years’ recent related experience providing professional mental health services or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Registration with the BC Association for Clinical Counsellors

**Knowledge and Abilities**:

- Comprehensive knowledge of psychotherapeutic and counselling skills.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with clients, colleagues, referral sources, medical personnel, and community agency personnel.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct a risk assessment and safety plan in collaboration with the client
- Two clinical or academic references
