**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Assist the estimating team in preparing comprehensive cost estimates for construction projects.
- Utilize Business Center software to develop detailed project budgets, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to gather necessary information for estimates.
- Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
- Negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers to secure competitive pricing for materials and services.
- Review and validate estimates prepared by team members for accuracy and compliance with company standards.
- Monitor market trends and pricing strategies to maintain competitiveness in bids.
- Provide mentorship and training to junior estimators, fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Participate in project meetings to discuss estimating processes, challenges, and solutions.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in construction estimating with a focus on project management.
- Proficiency in exel software is required; familiarity with Trimble Business Center is preferred.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to build relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate cost estimation.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
- A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
