**About the HR Business Partner position**

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) oversees human resources strategies within the organization. The HRBP liaises between clients and the department to ensure that HR programs and services designed to meet the current and future needs of the company are implemented.

Your job:
Role 1: Provide advice:

- Develop strong relationships with managers to understand their business reality and needs in order to provide the special human resources services they require
- Coach, equip, and empower leaders across business units on best practices in human resources management
- Advise and support managers in the handling of disciplinary files
- Provide compensation management advice and support to managers
- Ensure the requirements of pay equity legislation are met and maintained
- Help negotiate and manage employee benefits and clearly explain them

Role 2: Perform HR functions:

- Help develop recruitment strategies and employer branding initiatives to facilitate staffing and attract top talent
- Develop business relationships with various external partners to meet department objectives (recruitment firms, competency assessment, training, etc.)
- Stay abreast of legal changes in Canada that may affect the company’s HR practices
- In conjunction with team and/or colleagues, develop training tools or other solutions for managers to achieve organizational goals
- Recommend and implement HR process optimization solutions
- Conduct competitive intelligence and market analysis to enhance programs and internal client HR monitoring measures (KPIs) with a view to delivering optimal HR services
- Establish and monitor various HR performance metrics
- Actively participate in various HR department projects

Role 3: Manage team:

- Expertly manage your HR staff (advisor and/or intern), including professional development and performance evaluation
- Implement measurement tools to ensure HR services are aligned with organizational expectations
- Ensure staffing process runs seamlessly and actively participate for some strategic positions

**Your profile**:

- At least 8 years’ experience as a human resources generalist
- A minimum of 5 years in an advisory role
- Experience in people management (an asset)
- Experience in organizational development and skills management
- Experience with the Employment Standards Act (an asset)
- B.A. in human resources management
- Bilingual (English and French) so you can work on any file anywhere in Canada
- A certified member of the Ordre des conseillers en ressources humaines agréés
- A reputation for attention to detail, integrity, and honesty
- A reputation for creative solutions and initiative
- A team player
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now (an asset)
