**Summary**

We are seeking a Journeyman Equipment Technician to lead our dynamic service team at Adrenaline Diesel. In this role, you will be responsible to mentor and direct our team to ensure that deadlines, budgets, revenue targets, and industry compliance is met. Your leadership will ensure optimal performance for our customers and high level training for our technicians. Your expertise will be crucial in delivering high-quality service and support.

**Responsibilities**
- Oversee routine maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty equipment.
- Aid in the diagnosis of mechanical issues.
- Employ a variety of resources including schematics, technical manuals, manufacturers and industry knowledge.
- Grab a wrench and aid the shop in completing projects with tight timelines.
- Train and assist in the assembly and welding of equipment components as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service by proactively communicating issues, necessary repairs, recommended repairs and timelines.
- Provide corrective action and disciplinary action of the shop team as required to ensure a positive, productive, and enjoyable work culture.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a mechanic or technician in the heavy-duty industry. Journeyman certification required.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics.
- Familiarity with electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to mentor and train staff at a variety of levels.
- Excellent customer service skills to enhance client relationships.
- Experience in a leadership role is a benefit, but not required.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to address difficult situations.
- Ability to supervise occasional overtime to meet deadlines.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $47.00-$55.00 per hour

Expected hours: 44 per week

**Education**:

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)

**Experience**:

- diesel repair: 8 years (required)

**Language**:

- English (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Heavy Equipment Technician Journeyman Certificate (required)
- Class 3 Licence (preferred)
- Class 1 Licence (preferred)
