SCOPE
This team will be responsible for the logístical and service oversight of all destinations offered by Air Canada Vacations. They key function of this role is to be present at destination during regular and irregular operation.

RESPONSIBITIES
- Train and coach local ground handler’s staff
- Monitor Service standards in all ACV destinations.
- Work closely with the Destination Coordinators to ensure high level of Customer Satisfaction
- Responsible for destination branding and ensuring compliance with corporate guidelines.
- Identify marketing and branding opportunities and work with various departments to implement.
- Responsible for the health and safety of all our passengers across various touchpoints such as resorts, transportation, and excursions.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal ACV departments
- Update and maintain the Destination Services Manual
- Manage the ordering, shipping, and inventory of destination supplies.
- Crisis Management - at destination. May require absence from home and overnight stays to ensure proper resolution of the matter.
- Negotiate with hotels to increase brand presence.
- Manage multiple projects and perform other duties as required.
- Position involves frequent travel to the various destinations serviced by Air Canada Vacations

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED
- Diploma in tourism or equivalent experience
- 2-years minimum of experience with a tour operator
- Must demonstrate accuracy, initiative, judgement and act in a confidential manner.
- Ability to communicate effectively - written and verbal.
- Ability to create reports
- Analytical
- Experience in destination services/operations
- Computer knowledge: Excel, Word, Report Manager
- Knowledge of English, French and Spanish is an asset
- Ability to travel at least twice a month
