Our civil team is focused on:
- Earthworks & Civil Infrastructure (landfill construction & capping, excavation, excess soil / soil management, water management, access road construction, backfilling)
- Climate Resiliency (Flood protection, erosion control, habitat construction, stormwater management infrastructure, invasive species)
- Mining (site servicing & preparations, landfill construction & engineered covers, earthen dam construction, tailings management, burrow pit & aggregate production).

**LIVE**:
**What You will Do**:
- Lead, inspire, and manage a team of Project Managers, Coordinators, and Superintendents.
- Oversee the execution of projects, ensuring they meet financial, operational, and safety KPIs.
**Strategic Planning & Execution**:
Develop and implement strategic plans to drive regional growth, align with corporate goals, and meet financial targets. Monitor and adjust strategies based on market trends and business needs.
- Collaborate with senior leaders to foster long-term growth and expand QM’s footprint in the region.
**Client Relationship Management**:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, government agencies, and industry partners. Act as the primary point of contact for client issues and ensure their expectations are met or exceeded.
**Business Development**:
- Expected to dedicate a portion of their time to Business Development, this role involves coordinating client relationships to convert them into actionable projects. The individual will be responsible for identifying, securing, and delivering significant worth of work.
- **Budgeting & Financial Oversight**:
Oversee the development and management of the regional budget, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget. Track key financial metrics, such as revenue growth, profit margins, and operational efficiency.
- Ensure all operations align with QM’s core values of safety, quality, and client satisfaction.

**What you bring to the table**
- 15+ years of leadership experience within the environmental and/or civil construction sectors.
- Proven success in project management, P&L oversight, and business development.
- Experience on the contractor side, with a deep understanding of the practical aspects of the work.
- Strong financial acumen with a history of achieving and exceeding business metrics.
- A collaborative leadership style that aligns with QM’s values and commitment to teamwork.
- Experience managing complex projects for government, industrial, oil and gas, and commercial clients.
