We seek a skilled and reliable Snow Removal Crew Leader to join our dynamic team.

As a Crew Leader for Snow Removal, you will be responsible forYou will be an important part of our team, leading by example and maintaining a positive, proactive environment for your crew.

**Key Responsibilities**:
- Supervise a team of snow removal workers, ensuring that jobs are completed efficiently and safely, and providing high-quality service to our clients.- Lead by example and maintain a positive, proactive environment for your crew.- Operate and maintain snow removal equipment including snow plows, skid steers, shovels, and salt spreaders.- Operate trucks and trailers to transport equipment and materials to various job sites.- Organize and assign daily tasks to crew members based on priority and location.- Ensure safety protocols are adhered to by the team during operations, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).- Monitor and report on snow conditions and weather forecasts to adjust the plan accordingly.- Communicate effectively with clients to address any concerns or requests related to snow removal services.- Maintain accurate records of hours worked, equipment used, and completed jobs.- Provide training, guidance, and performance feedback to crew members.- Assist in snow removal activities as needed, including shoveling, salting, and plowing.- Ensure the proper maintenance and repair of snow removal equipment.
- Ensure that all work is completed on schedule and to company standards.

**Qualifications**:

- Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a minimum of 2 years experience and a clean abstract.- Proven ability to operate trucks and trailers, while hauling small equipment to/from sites.- Proven ability to load, unload, and secure small equipment to trailers.- Experience with snow removal equipment (e.g. shovels, blowers, sweepers, ASV, toolcat, etc.).- Ability to use a variety of mobile apps for record keeping, time entry, and safety paperwork.- Walking, lifting, bending, and various tasks that require physical strength and repetitive movement.- Ability to perform manual labour in an outdoor work setting.- Ability to handle a high-paced and stressful environment.- Use of hands, finger dexterity for texting, and electronic recordkeeping/writing is required.- Strong leadership and team management skills.- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

**Schedule & Hours**:

- On-Call- 12 hour shifts- Early Morning Shift- Day Shift- Weekends
- Holidays

**Work Environment**: The employee is required to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions, including cold, wind, and rain.
