The Site Superintendent reports directly to the CEO and ensures the field team supports outstanding project results. What you can expect the first year on the job **First 90-days**: - You will get to know your team very well, including everyone's strengths and areas that need improvement. - You will get to know all the company's systems. This includes embracing and learning the central company system - JobTread. - Understand the working of the administrative requirements in the job. This may include paperwork, job standards, health, and safety etc. - Understand all your main team players in the business to support them and support you in your objectives. **First 6-Months**: - By this time, you are well acquainted with all company systems and, in certain situations, are making recommendations to improve overall efficiencies in the field. - You are also well acquainted with your team in the field. You are working well with each person and are supporting and helping them grow in their job and careers. **First 12-Months**: - You are now one of the key leaders in the company representing NUVO Construction well. - You are regularly engaging with customers in ensuring an outstanding customer experience. Please make sure you can demonstrate proven experience in the following areas: - **Client Communication & Management -**Serve as the primary on-site contact, ensuring clear communication, managing expectations, addressing concerns, and coordinating resolutions to maintain strong client relationships. - **Performance Management** - Ensuring your team and sub-trades understand their work scope, answer questions, and meet expectations. - **Job Site Management**- Ensuring that all jobs/projects have the right material available to start the job on time. This includes managing and maintaining tools and equipment, and most importantly, the health and safety, your team and anyone on Site. - **Project Schedule Management**- Ensuring that employees' schedules are managed well and efficiently. - **Financial Management -**Responsible for managing the field budget as required by the company. - **Employee Training**- Ensuring that all new and existing employees are fully trained for superior job performance. - **Project Administration -**Ensuring all applicable paperwork is completed and managed associated with each job. - **Field Work -**Working with the team on-site ensuring jobs are completed without the need for sub-trade support. Calling in trades for minor tasks. For example, silicone, installing doorknobs, towel bars, tightening faucets, small drywall patches etc. - **Business Development** - Ensuring that you can schedule a time to engage and support its overall business growth by supporting marketing efforts in the field. Knowing is one thing. Having the skills and experience in implementing this knowledge is essential. Do you have the following experience and qualifications? - Completion of a post-secondary education Construction training program. - A diploma in Construction Management, Construction Science, Civil Engineering, or related field experience is an asset. - A minimum of 3-5-years of proven experience working as a Site Superintendent. - A minimum of 5-years of experience working with residential clientele. - CPR and first aid certifications. - Sound knowledge of building codes and construction safety regulations. - Working knowledge of construction tools and equipment. - The ability to interpret blueprints. - Outstanding leadership skills. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent organizational, planning and communication skills. **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $80,000.00-$120,000.00 per year **Benefits**: - Company events - Dental care - Employee assistance program - Extended health care - Life insurance - On-site parking - Paid time off - Vision care Schedule: - Monday to Friday **Education**: - AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred) **Experience**: - working as a Site Superintendent: 5 years (required) - working with residential clientele: 5 years (required) Licence/Certification: - CPR and first aid certifications (required) Work Location: In per
