Sales Associate

This position offers an opportunity to interact with both retail and contractor customers on a daily basis to help them find solutions to their renovation and home décor needs. With over 100,000 skus in our distribution centre we offer a huge range of products which creates an environment of continual learning. With constant online and on-the-job training, you will always be at the forefront of the industry acting as a do-it-yourself expert.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide consultation and design inspiration services within the fashion plumbing & paint department
- Being a key contributor to the success of the department by working with management to redesign the showroom, and proposing new products to stock
- Providing a high level of customer service
- Special ordering non-stocked items from distribution or direct vendors
- Advising on a wide range of projects
- Occasional cashier duties
- Merchandising and stocking products

Qualifications:

- Have a basic knowledge on a variety of home improvement products/projects
- Good communication/interpersonal skills
- Excellent problem solving abilities
- Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and friendly demeanor
- Flexibility with scheduling and willing to work weekends and evening shifts

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Shift:

- 8 hour shift

**Experience**:

- sales: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
