**Office Administrator**

My client is seeking a full-time Office Administrator to join their dynamic team For over 20 years, this local Ottawa-based company prioritizes safety through its residential and commercial security and locksmith services. The Office Administrator plays an important role by keeping the company on track, on budget, and by maintaining a professional image to its clients and community.

**Job Duties**
- Arrange appointments and maintain schedules
- Liaise between colleagues, clients, vendors, and suppliers
- Perform basic bookkeeping activities
- Process and file invoices
- Create office documents, memos, agendas, and take meeting minutes
- Maintain organized filing systems
- Ensure office records and databases are up to date
- Ensure office equipment is in working order
- Ensure office supplies are well stocked
- Maintain a tidy and organized workspace
- Other administrative duties as required

**Skills & Qualifications Required**
- Minimum 5 years in an administrative role
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills (speaking, writing, & listening)
- Bookkeeping skills
- Positive attitude and self-motivated
- Able to work independently
- Highly organized; able to stay on task and prioritize responsibilities
- Excellent computer skills (Quick Books, MS Office)
- Bilingual is considered an asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $22.00-$25.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

**Education**:

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)

**Experience**:

- administrative assistant: 5 years (preferred)
- receptionist: 5 years (preferred)
