Junior Maintenance Technician

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the routine maintenance, inspection, and repair of machinery and equipment.
- Collaborate with senior technicians to troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues.
- Participate in scheduled preventive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and report any potential issues.
- Assist in maintaining the overall functionality of the plant warehouse, including repairs to structures and fixtures.
- Address facility-related issues promptly and report major concerns to senior technicians.
- Work closely with other maintenance team members and departments to address cross-functional maintenance needs.
- Follow instructions from senior technicians and actively seek learning opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and equipment documentation.
- Assist with performing all maintenance on plant equipment in a safe manner, ensure equipment and machines are clean and in good working order, follow GMP.

**Skills and Experience**:

- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Maintenance
- Educational background in Electrical or Electromechanical Engineering is required
- 1 year of experience in food production is preferred
- Experience in maintaining accurate and complete maintenance record documentation.
- Previous experience in a maintenance or technical role is desirable.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical systems, and hand tools.
- Ability to follow safety protocols and guidelines.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
