**Camp Director - Specialty Camps (Ages 4-12)**

At Camp KidsTown, our specialty camps offer unique, creative experiences for children ages 4-12. As the Camp Director, you’ll oversee all aspects of these specialty camps, ensuring a safe and enriching environment that fosters personal growth, creativity, and teamwork. In this leadership role, you’ll manage a variety of innovative programs, lead a dynamic team, and cultivate a positive camp culture. You’ll serve as the central connection between campers, parents, and staff, working to create unforgettable summer memories that align with Camp KidsTown’s core values of adventure, learning, and fun.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Oversee weekly specialty camp programs, designed to inspire creativity and personal development in children ages 4-12.
- Manage a skilled team of counsellors and staff to ensure engaging, safe, and high-quality programming.
- Foster a welcoming atmosphere for campers and their families, addressing concerns and feedback with care.
- Oversee daily activities to ensure compliance with safety standards and camp policies, with attention to age-appropriate needs.
- Organize logistics for camp events, including materials and supplies tailored to each specialty camp.
- Maintain detailed records of camper participation, incidents, and program effectiveness.
- Promote an inclusive environment that encourages participation and builds confidence in every camper.

**Skills & Qualifications**
- Proven leadership with a focus on team management and creating a supportive camp community.
- Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with young campers, parents, and staff.
- Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple programs and schedules with attention to detail.
- Experience working with children, especially in the 4-12 age group, with an emphasis on creative and educational activities.
- Problem-solving skills to address challenges in a fast-paced camp setting.
- Passion for working with children in a vibrant, outdoor, and creative environment.
