**Position: Commercial Account Manager - Hamilton Territory**

**Reporting To**: Commercial Sales Manager - Ontario

**Location: Hamilton, ON**

**The Opportunity**

Understanding the customer’s business, needs and language, the Account Manager seeks to collaborate with Consulting Engineers to secure favorable specifications of Carrier product resulting in commercial equipment sales.

Through dedicated customer service, you assist in designing with equipment selection and specification writing so that Carrier commercial equipment becomes the choice of Engineers and Contractors.

With strong interpersonal skills, you build strong relationships with Servicing and Installing Mechanical Contractors to close commercial equipment sales.

A self-starter who has demonstrated the ability to work independently and be self-reliant, with accomplished communication and presentation skills, and can recruit new channels of business, while expanding the equipment offering to an existing customer base. that further builds solid business relationships.

Proven negotiation skills and sales ability to implement marketing and business strategies to achieve sales plans, promote products and systems, and keep customers abreast of industry trends.

Actively participate in industry associations and events to increase your network and leverage new strategies for growth.

**What You Offer**
- Successful technical HVAC/R sales experience
- A post-secondary education in Mechanical Engineering or HVAC
- Controls DDC experience
- Highly motivated and independent individual with a strong desire to sell and succeed
- Proven customer relationship building skills
- Ability to solve problems using both logic and creative approaches
- An organized individual with the ability to prioritize, plan and work to deadlines
- Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office
