We are seeking an experienced Assistant Service Manager to join our team. The Assistant Service Manager is responsible for overseeing the dealership's service department, monitoring all service processes, developing and building a service team, and ensuring that each customer receives excellent service.

**Responsibilities**:
Manage the day to day service workflow

Direct and schedule activities of three technician team members

Provide exceptional customer service by capturing complaint, cause and corrections needed

Monitor and track service orders, ensuring timely completion and accuracy

Extensive mechanical knowledge and understanding of automotive repair processes.

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Supervise and keep record of shop equipment.

Other duties as required.

**Requirements**:
Maintain a positive attitude while leading a team of 3 technicians in an efficient and productive manner

Proven ability to plan using proper leadership techniques and proven problem-solving methods

Manage all external service providers and review yearly contracts as needed to be able to maximize profitability

Monitor top tier customer problems to ensure a high level of response time and proper problem resolutions

Understand how to make changes to the company knowledge base to anticipate the needs of your team

Qualifications for Service Manager

Must be comfortable being on the service floor and on your feet for a significant portion of the day

Must be an excellent communicator and speaker both online in written interactions, and face-to-face customer service interactions

Demonstrated ability and proven track record of effective marketing campaigns and employee management

Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles is an asset

Competitive salary based on experience, paid sick and personal days, health and dental benefits and staff discounts.

**Salary**: $48,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
