- **RDJ Bakeries Ltd**_ is currently looking for a Quality Trainer to join our growing day shift team.
**Job purpose**
The Quality Trainer works across many departments to ensure that employees are up to date in the training requirement for each position from a food safety and quality assurance perspective.
**Duties and Responsibilities**
The associate’s primary functions and responsibilities are as follows:
- Review, update, and conduct training to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements, client specification, quality standards, procedures, and process changes.
- Conduct regular reviews and identify individual or team knowledge gaps, recommend and conduct appropriate retraining to address identified deficiencies.
- Ensure position specific quality related onboarding and training are completed and documented within the specified period.
- Prepare and deliver training modules as per the requirement for each position.
- Deploy a wide variety of training methods.
- Participate in the development of quality aids and materials to meet company and client needs, and upload into the Alchemy system as appropriate.
- Tailor training to address any specific knowledge gap as required.
- Maintain a keen understanding of food safety training trends, regulatory developments, and best practices.
- Manage the onboarding records for all quality related training.
- Develop and manage the training matrix.
- Coordinate with the QMS team to make sure all training records as presented to the auditors during audits.
- Coordinate with QMS team to get all training required based on customer standards, BRC, IFS etc.
- Constantly communicate with the team for ongoing and new projects.
- Acts with integrity and protect sensitive data confidentiality.
- Perform other assigned duties.
- Follow Health and Safety rules and regulations.
- Must follow Good Manufacturing Practices, Food Safety, and Food Defense guidelines.
- Comply with all Company policies and procedures.
**Qualifications**
- Proven experience as trainer or in a similar position.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and processes is an added advantage.
- Track record in designing and executing successful training programs.
- Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods (mentoring, coaching, on-the-job or in classroom training, e-learning, workshops, simulations etc.).
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to plan, multi-task and manage time effectively. Capability to produce reports and presentations when needed.
- Strong writing and record keeping ability for reports and training manuals.
- Expertise in Excel and MS office.
**Working conditions**
- Always work indoors.
- May be exposed to very hot temperatures from ovens.
- Usually wear safety equipment such as gloves, hair nets, and beard nets.
- Capability to work flexible schedule and overtime across all shifts.
**Physical requirements**
- A lot of talk involved.
- Typing.
- Training.
**Shift**
7AM - 3PM, Monday to Friday
