Our customer base includes Air Canada, WestJet, Canadian Coast Guard, Purolator, Petro Canada, Home Hardware, Alaska Airlines and a broad base of government entities such as the Federal Government of Canada.
**Job Summary**: Assists in scheduling and coordinating flow of work to expedite domestic production, purchasing and inventory management. Reviews production schedule and work orders. Establish priorities for specific customer orders. Maintain the schedule according to work order specifications and established priorities. Assist in inventory planning and maintenance. Processes manual orders. This position will report directly to the Director, Western Operations.
**Responsibilities**:
- Coordinates flow of work to expedite production.
- Distributes work orders, denoting number, type, and proposed completion date of units to be purchased or produced.
- Creates BPO work orders.
- Determines progress of work and provides information on changes.
- Performs fitting sessions.
- Compiles reports concerning progress of work.
- Issues manual orders.
- Issues domestic production.
- Maintains inventory of materials and parts needed to complete production and fulfillment of customer orders.
- Assists Program Managers in researching and sourcing products.
- Inputs system inventory data as required.
- Additional responsibilities may be assigned.
**Job Requirements**:
- Basic knowledge of apparel and promotional products a plus but not required
- Strong computer skills and ability to work with spreadsheets
- Ability to always maintain a positive and calm demeanor
- Energetic, motivated, willing to learn
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills both verbal and written, including problem solving and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to prioritize workload
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Ability to work in a team environment and fluid organizational structure
**Job Specifications**:
- Experience - 2 - 4 years in related position
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel and PowerPoint
