**PED Days & PED Weeks 2026**

**Possibility of Full-Time Summer Employment - Summer 2026**

**About the Position**

We are seeking a part-time German-speaking Childcare Counselor to support our upcoming PED Days and PED Weeks in 2026. The counselor will ensure the safety, well-being, and engagement of the children entrusted to them, while helping create a positive, inclusive, and fun environment. The role includes communicating any concerns or feedback to the site leadership team.

This position may lead to a full-time contract during Summer 2026.

**Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and care for a group of children during PED Days and PED Weeks.

- Organize and lead age-appropriate group activities.

- Participate actively in all scheduled activities throughout the day.

- Ensure safety and respond appropriately in emergencies (including administering basic first aid).

- Support behavior management using positive discipline techniques as needed.

- Communicate relevant information regarding children’s needs, behavior, or satisfaction to the leadership team.

**Qualifications**:

- Experience working with children and families (asset).

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Fluent in German (required).

- Fluent in either English or French (required).

- Availability for PED Days and PED Weeks in 2026.

- Possibility of working full-time during Summer 2026

Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
