**Job Summary**:
**Experience**:

- 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure management, particularly with Microsoft Azure.
- Proven experience managing Azure Virtual Desktop environments and terraform.
- Strong understanding of Azure networking, storage, identity, and security solutions is a plus.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Design and Implementation:

- Design and architect Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments based on business requirements.
- Implement AVD environments using Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to ensure consistency and scalability.
- Automate deployment, scaling, and management of AVD resources using Terraform.

Administration and Support:

- Provide L3 support for Azure Virtual Desktop environments, including troubleshooting and resolving complex issues.
- Monitor and maintain AVD performance, availability, and security.
- Optimize AVD environments for cost-effectiveness and performance.

Infrastructure Management:

- Manage and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure, including virtual networks, storage, and identity services.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate AVD solutions into CI/CD pipelines using Terraform.
- Ensure compliance with security and governance policies for Azure environments.

Documentation and Reporting:

- Create and maintain detailed documentation for AVD deployments, configurations, and support procedures.
- Generate regular reports on AVD performance, usage, and costs.

Continuous Improvement:

- Stay updated with the latest Azure and Terraform features, best practices, and industry trends.
- Propose and implement enhancements to AVD and Terraform processes to improve efficiency and reliability.

**Qualifications**:

- AZ-140: Configuring and Operating Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop certification.
- Extensive experience in designing, deploying, and managing Azure Virtual Desktop environments.
- Proficiency in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices, with experience in writing and maintaining Terraform scripts.
- Strong knowledge of Azure services, including virtual networks, storage, compute, and identity management.
- Experience with automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Azure CLI).
- Excellent troubleshooting skills, with the ability to resolve complex technical issues.
- Strong understanding of networking, security, and governance in Azure environments.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating Terraform into DevOps workflows.
- Familiarity with other Azure services like Azure AD, Azure Monitor, and Azure Security Center and Nerdio Manager.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
