**Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement comprehensive music lesson plans that align with educational standards and cater to the needs of diverse learners.
- Educate students on fundamental music theory, techniques, and performance skills.
- Create a positive atmosphere conducive to learning and creativity.
- Assist in music-related activities, including concerts, recitals, and community performances.
- Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to enhance their musical abilities.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in music education.
**Skills**
- Strong knowledge of music theory, instruments (piano and/or guitar) and training techniques. Must hold a Bachelors Degree in Music or RCM Level 10.
- Experience in childhood education or tutoring is highly desirable.
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans tailored to different age groups and learning styles.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues.
- A passion for teaching and the ability to inspire students through music.
- Organizational skills to manage caseload effectively.
