**Title**: Human Resources Training Coordinator

**Description**: Thompson Construction Group is currently seeking a charismatic and experienced individual to join our team as a Human Resources Training Coordinator in Fort McMurray, AB.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct new hire orientations
- Review all components of the on-boarding package to ensure completion
- Maintain tracking of employee documentation
- Provide on-site support for assigned courses and refresher orientations
- Print (or coordinate printing of) materials to support TBCG learning initiatives
- Audit project locations for HR documentation requirements
- Participate in developing departmental goals, objectives and systems
- Ensure proper training material and information resources are available to TBCG employees

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry
- Previous experience in Human Resources or Safety is an asset (NCSO, Degree in HR)
- Excellent in Microsoft Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure
- Possess a valid Class 5 driver's license
- Ability to work in a team environment
- CSTS/OSSA or BSO Certification
- Must be able to pass a pre-access drug and alcohol test
- Must be able to train new employees in:

- TDG
- Flagger
- WHIMIS
