**What Will You Do?**
- Configuring, supporting and deploying Cisco hardware (switches, routers, firewall).
- Monitor network performance (availability, utilization, throughput, latency).
- Identify and remediate weaknesses and other network issues.
- Tier 2-3 Help Desk support and internal I/T support.
- Enterprise Business Software Support - upgrades, trouble shooting and HA monitoring.
- Support Smart Phones in an Office 365 environment.
- All other duties as required.

**Who Are We Looking For?**
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in network administration or systems administration required.
- Computer Science Degree or College Technical Diploma in related IT Field of study required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience and knowledge of Cisco networking equipment required.
- Experience and knowledge of storage and server administration/virtualization (VMware, Azure) preferred.
- Experience and knowledge in a Citrix environment preferred.
- Excellent communications skills required.
- Experience with Linux Server OS would be considered an asset.
- Windows PowerShell Scripting experience would be considered an asset.
- SQL DB experience would be considered an asset.
- Certifications from Cisco CCNA, Microsoft, and CompTIA would be considered an asset.
- Knowledge of system vulnerabilities and security issues required.
- Strong networking knowledge: IP, TCP, UDP, BGP, firewalls, LAN/Internet routing, VPNs, NAT, DNS required.
- Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude.
- Ability to attend and conduct presentations.

**What Are The Working Conditions?**
- Salaried position based on 40-hour week.
- Overtime is required.
- On-Call rotation required.
- Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals.
- Occasional travel to Erb terminals, seminars, etc. will be required.
