**Why We Need This Position**

We’re hiring an **Energy Transition Manager** to help develop and implement our ambitious plans to:

- Develop Nova Scotia’s first green hydrogen project to help decarbonize the local heavy transportation and building sectors,
- Introduce new building heating solutions like natural gas heat pumps and district energy systems to Nova Scotia building owners, and
- Identify, evaluate, and develop other energy solutions to help achieve Nova Scotia’s emission reduction targets.

**Who We Are Looking For**

**Training &** **Experience**: A degree in engineering, engineering technology, or similar. Enough technical experience to make an immediate impact and confidence to work with mínimal supervision. Project management experience.

**Bonus Experience**: Technical sales, experience in the energy, building energy, building construction industry or related technical field.

**Special Skills**: We’re looking for someone who enjoys solving technical problems and is confident leading complex projects. You’re an innovative thinker and skilled communicator who can build support for new ideas.

**Passion**: Interest in the energy transition and developing practical, sustainable energy solutions that will support Nova Scotia’s transition to net-zero emissions.
