**Position Summary**

Under the direction of the Maintenance Manager, the Janitorial Services worker is responsible for providing janitorial services throughout Finlandia Village.

**Some Key Responsibilities**
- Sweep, mop, scrub and wax floors
- Remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris and other refuse
- Empty waste containers
- Wash windows, interior walls and ceilings
- Clean and disinfect washrooms and fixtures
- Move heavy furniture, equipment and supplies
- Snow removal

**Qualifications**
- Successful completion of Secondary School or equivalent
- An acceptable Police Vulnerable Sector Check verified within the past six months (reimbursed by Finlandia Village)
- 2-step TB test within the past six months (reimbursed by Finlandia Village)
- Driver’s License required

**Physical Demands**
- Handling heavy loads
- Combination of sitting, standing, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, crouching, and kneeling
- Must be available to work shift work (Days, Evenings, and Nights)
