Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities. This role is essential to ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all employees and visitors. The Janitor will perform a variety of cleaning tasks, including commercial cleaning and facilities maintenance, to uphold the standards of our organization.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors.
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas.
  • Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly.
  • Maintain cleanliness of windows, walls, and surfaces throughout the facility.
  • Restock supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, and soap as needed.
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
  • Follow established cleaning procedures and safety protocols to ensure a clean environment.
  • Assist with special cleaning projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in commercial cleaning or facilities maintenance is preferred but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Good time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties that may require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • A positive attitude and commitment to providing excellent service in maintaining a clean environment.
  • Clean record check and own vehicle.
