**Role and Responsibilities**
- Perform acupuncture/herbal recommendation treatments on clients using sterile needles (as provided)
- Conduct client assessment with the use of TCM theory and develop a comprehensive treatment plan
- Administer other complementary therapies such as cupping, moxibustion, and herbal medicine as needed
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
- Maintain accurate and detailed client records
- Schedule clients according to their treatment needs
- Submit claims and process client payments (when admin staff are not available)
- Assist with laundry and keeping the room clean (as needed)
- Refer out to other practitioners at the clinic (as needed)

**Skills**
- Registered and in good standing with CTCMPAO
- Minimum 2 years of experience practicing TCM and/or other related health professions
- Strong knowledge of acupuncture techniques, principles, TCM theory, diagnosis, and herbal formulas
- Knowledge of the most recent research on the mind-body connection (i.e. polyvagal theory) with a motivation for continued learning
- Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of human anatomy
- Excellent communication and people skills to effectively build rapport with clients and healthcare professionals
- Excellent bedside manners
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to maintain accurate patient records
- Tech savvy and experience with using Janeapp (asset)

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $60.00-$70.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 10 per week
