**Qualifications: (knowledge, skills, attributes, accreditations, training, experience)**:

- Fluent oral and written English
- Mathematical and desktop computer capabilities
- 3 years experience in a hands on Quality Control and/or Quality Assurance environment in food, preferred Bakery
- Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to prioritize and motivate within a fast-paced environment
- Strong knowledge of Health & Safety, WHMIS, GMP, HACCP and BRC procedures
- Detail oriented, strong organizational skills

**Job Summary**:
The Quality Control Technician is responsible for supporting the Director of R&D to ensure that the quality during all stages are met.
- Assist the Director of R&D to ensure that product specifications are being followed and met through all stages of our process (receiving of raw material to the shipment and storage of finished products)
- Hands on verification that qualitative and quantitative measures are being followed in all processing departments.
- Report process deviations and product failures to the necessary departments and assist in the investigation and generation of solutions to the problem.
- Document daily reviews and weekly recaps with Director QA and Director of R&D
- Responsible for Quality Control System documentation with records and ongoing maintenance
- Complete daily, weekly, monthly and yearly logs/inspections
- Conduct on-site floor observation to maintain consistency of Baker Street products, including weights, design and conformance etc.
- Perform any additional tasks as assigned

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
