Production Supervisor

**Overview**
**Responsibilities**
- Supervise daily production activities to ensure efficient operations and adherence to safety standards.
- Implement and monitor food safety protocols throughout the production process.
- Train and mentor production staff on best practices in food processing, sanitation, and equipment operation.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and work areas to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with quality assurance teams to maintain product quality and address any issues that arise during production.
- Manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished products, ensuring timely packaging and fabrication for distribution.
- Utilize basic math skills for inventory management, production reporting, and scheduling.
**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within the food industry is required.
- Strong knowledge of food processing techniques and food safety regulations.
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
- Ability to sanitize work areas and maintain cleanliness in compliance with industry standards.
- Proficient in basic math skills for effective inventory management and reporting.
- Experience with packaging processes is an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
Pay: $60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
