**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Assist our veterinarians during examinations and surgical procedures.
- Perform in-house laboratory tests and prepare samples for outside labs.
- Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as directed by the veterinarian.
- Prepare patients for surgical procedures, monitor anesthesia, and recover the patient from anesthesia.
- Take radiographs or assist with image acquisition.
- Assist with mares, foals, and stallions.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the clinic, including sterilization of instruments and equipment.
- Assist with inventory processes.
- Provide on-call afterhours services as necessary.

**Qualifications**
- Certification or licensure as a Veterinary Technician in Alberta
- 1+ year experience working in a veterinary clinic as a Veterinary Technician
- 1+ year of equine experience
- Proficiency in surgical assistance and anesthesia monitoring
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week
