**Lassonde Beverages Canada Plant**

We are a small unionized plant of 150 employees that work together as a team to achieve great success.

**Summary**:
We are looking for a Filler Machine Operator who will report to our Production Supervisor. The Filler Operator will be responsible for startups and preparation of the filler machine, monitoring performance of the operation, including troubleshooting, cleanup, setup, quality control, and waste control.

**Key Activities**:

- Starts and prepares the filler machine.
- Observes operations to detect malfunctions of machine and perform minor machine adjustments.
- Performs operations of machines (troubleshooting, cleanup, setup, quality control, waste control).
- Performs all required quality/ food safety checks (temperature checks, seal checks, weight checks, code checks, etc.).
- Ensure weekly cleaning schedule is followed.

**Education & experience required**:

- Minimum high school diploma.
- Previous work experience in the food and beverage manufacturing industry (an asset).
- Experience working in a fast paced environment with repetitive tasks.

**Competencies**:

- Good verbal/written communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task, stand for long periods of time and
- Attention to detail.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Perform individual tasks or work effectively as part of a team to ensure productivity and efficiency.
