**Position: Admin Assistant (Order Taking, Customer Assistance, Sales)**As an Admin Assistant at VanCasa Building Supplies, you will be the friendly face and the efficient force behind our store's daily operations. Your main responsibilities will include:
**Order Taking and Processing**:

- Handle incoming orders from customers, both in person and over the phone.
- Ensure accurate order details, including product specifications, quantities, and delivery information.
- Collaborate with our warehouse team to ensure timely order fulfillment and delivery.
- Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing any inquiries or concerns related to orders.

**Customer Assistance and Sales**:

- Greet and assist customers, offering guidance and recommendations on products and materials.
- Act as a knowledgeable resource, providing information on our product offerings, prices, and promotions.
- Conduct product demonstrations and showcase our inventory to help customers make informed decisions.
- Collaborate with our sales team to identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using our point-of-sale system.

**General Administrative Support**:

- Perform various administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, and document management.
- Coordinate appointments and meetings, ensuring schedules are organized and optimized.
- Assist with inventory management, including stock checks and reordering supplies.
- Support the overall organization and cleanliness of the store.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; further education in business administration is a plus.
- Proven experience in an administrative or customer service role, preferably in a retail environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
- Proficiency in using office software, including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software is an advantage.
- Knowledge of building supplies, construction terminology, or related industry experience is desirable but not required.

**Salary**: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
