**Key Accountabilities/Activities**

**Academic Assistant Duties**
- After School Tutoring (daily)
- Evening study hall tutoring (Mon-Thurs)
- Classroom Support in ESL/ENG3U classes (5 classes a week)
- Individual Student Support - Tutoring (students being removed from class to assist with assessments, organization etc.)
- Assigned to a particular classroom; supervise and tutor students with studying and homework.
- Communicate with daytime teachers and Head of Academics on updates/progress.
- Provide and ensure a safe and friendly learning environment.
- To complete any additional duties as assigned by Senior Management.

**Marketing (Social Media) Assistant Duties**
- Attend and capture all School events, create appropriate videos/photos and other content.
- Assist in the creation of videos for promotional purposes.
- Ensure all activity pictures and information is student focused and relevant.
- Check with all Teams/HODs regarding events/information or updates to be included for social media purpose.
- Assist School’s Weekly Newsletter.
- Ensure any special days or holidays observed are mentioned and wished accordingly.
- Maintain, update and recommend existing and potential educational or related websites for online advertising and presence.

**Working Conditions**
- Hours of work: 01:00 pm to 09:00 pm

**Minimum requirements**
- University degree or College diploma
- Proficiency in Mandarin Language will be considered an asset
- Available all days of the week and late nights
- Enjoys working in a diverse multi-cultural environment
- Excellent command of the English language.
- Knowledge of and ability to use Microsoft Office.
