We are growing our team and are looking for a **Shipping/Receiving Logistics Coordinator** to manage the flow of materials for inbound and outbound orders. This role is essential for ensuring efficient, accurate handling of goods while upholding a commitment to sustainability.

**Qualifications (International EXPORT experience, shipping experience within Canada, and Microsoft Office proficiency are non-negotiable)**:

- **International EXPORT experience** with hands-on knowledge of global shipping regulations is mandatory
- **Shipping experience within Canada** is also required
- **Proficiency in Microsoft Office,** particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook, is crucial for handling documentation and communication tasks. _**Daily use of Excel is a key part of our workflow**_
- 2-3 years of experience in shipping, receiving, or logistics
- _**Proven experience with container booking, haulage coordination, and customs compliance**_
- Strong proficiency in inventory management systems
- _**Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment**_
- Experience in export/import documentation (e.g., B/L’s, B13’s)
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work with internal teams, external partners, and vendors
- Must have confidence in **problem-solving** and be **solution-oriented**:

- Remain **calm in difficult situations** and demonstrate **good listening skills** to effectively address challenges and collaborate with team members

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Shipment Management**: Oversee incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring timely processing and accurate documentation (B/L’s, B13’s, certificates of origin, packing lists, etc.)
- **Container Booking & Coordination**: Source and negotiate competitive shipping rates, and manage container haulage in and out of ports
- **Customs Compliance & Documentation**: Prepare and submit export/import documents, handle B/L’s, B13’s, and amendments as needed, and ensure compliance with global shipping regulations
- **Bank & Inspection Coordination**: Manage import/export banking documents, submit paperwork to the bank, and coordinate inspection requests as required by destination countries
- **Tracking & Updates**: Track shipments from start to finish, ensuring all required documents are obtained or sent and keeping stakeholders updated on status
- **Inventory & Customer Support**: Maintain accurate inventory, prepare invoices and packing lists for customers, and update statements. Approve payment invoices from vendors, carriers, and service providers
- **Problem-Solving & Process Improvement**: Troubleshoot shipping delays or discrepancies and implement solutions to improve logistics processes
- **Safety & Compliance**: Ensure adherence to safety protocols and hazardous material regulations where applicable

**Physical Requirements**:

- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment

Pay: $65,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
