Logistics Coordinator

Your Role
- Responsible for planning and scheduling the transportation and storage of goods, coordinating with suppliers and carriers
- Monitor and manage inventory, and the flow of flooring materials, ensuring Sierra has the necessary materials to meet delivery and installations schedules.
- Arrange transportation, monitor delivery schedules, and liaise with carriers to minimize delays.
- Coordinate with warehouse staff on assembly of job orders, verify received products, and report discrepancies.
- Scheduling deliveries to customers, communicating with drivers, and ensuring timely and accurate delivery of flooring products.
- Communicate with drivers, sales teams, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Address issues related to shipments, inventory, or other logistics challenges.
- Addressing issues related to shipments, inventory, or deliveries, and finding solutions to keep operations on track.
- Maintaining accurate records of shipments, inventory, and deliveries.

Required - Technical

- Familiar with computer systems, logistics software and inventory management systems

Education & Experience Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in logistics or a related field considered an asset
- 2-3 years of experience in supply chain, warehousing, or logistics is required
- Industry and/or flooring experience an asset
- Knowledge of supply chain management, warehouse operations, and inventory management

Pay: $60,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
