The Network Administrator installs, configures, and maintains a stable computing platform to support business operations.

Key Responsibilities
Network Administration
- Installing and configuring: Setting up hardware routers, switches, servers, as well as configuring network and server operating systems.
- Maintaining: Keeping servers and networks running smoothly, including monthly patching and troubleshooting issues.
- Monitoring: Developing the automated environment to detect and anticipate problems.
- Security: Implementing security measures, recommending upgrades, and working with business to prevent data breaches.
- User support: Providing technical support to users as required. Training employees on how to use the network VPN, and granting access approvals. Document and process tickets.
- Disaster recovery: Implementing and managing disaster recovery and backup procedures.

Backup Desktop Support
- Provide support to the user community when the primary desktop support administrator is away.

Other
- Other duties or projects as assigned.

- 6 Proxmox Hosts with 30+ virtual Servers.
- Windows Server 2008-2022, Ubuntu Linux
- Zabbix central monitoring platform
- Computer rooms located in Milton & Guelph
- SonicWall FW & VPN
- Cisco & Ubiquity Switches
- Ubiquity & Engenius WiFi AccessPoints
- Key Applications: HighJump WMS, Sage X3, Zendesk, M365, SharePoint, InTune
