**Position Job Title**: Director of Admissions
**Location**:On site, Vancouver, BC
**Reports To**: Associate Vice President of Admissions
**Job Status**: Full-time, permanent, must be eligible to work in Canada
**Compensation**: Starting from $80,000 annually + comprehensive benefits + 50% bonus
**Must Have**: Experience in Art & Design
**WHAT WILL YOU DO?**
As the Director of Admissions, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the region achieves or surpasses its enrollment targets. Reporting to the Associate Vice President of Admissions, your responsibilities will include leading and supporting the Admissions teams across multiple campuses, promoting and selling the College's programs, and maintaining adherence to Company standards.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Provide leadership to Admissions staff at all campuses within the region.
- Continuously monitor and analyze student enrollment data, taking proactive measures to address issues.
- Collaborate with various campus departments to ensure enrollment goals are met.
- Hire, train, develop, and coach campus Admissions staff, maximizing admissions performance.
- Manage staff communication during times of conflict and change.
- Coordinate group and individual training and systems implementation.
- Implement and maintain department policies, objectives, and goals.
- Report weekly enrollment and department updates to the Associate Vice President of Admissions.
- Recommend progressive growth targets.
- Maintain records and report on weekly activities such as leads, appointments, interviews, and enrollments.
- Collaborate in cross-functional teams with Academics, Finance, and Education.
- Build networks within the community to increase the organization's visibility.
- Attend cross-site meetings and trainings.
**WHY YOU?**
**Education and Experience**:
- Degree, diploma, or certificate in Business Management, Communication, Marketing, or Sales Management.
- Six years of sales management experience in a results-driven, service-oriented, fast-paced environment.
- Four years of leadership experience managing teams of 10+ sales staff, mentoring, coaching, and driving performance.
- Experience in the industry of Art & Design is a must
**Skills and Abilities**:
- Prior experience as a Director of Admissions, Territory Manager, or in a similar Sales role.
- Strong sales skills with a proven track record.
- Effective mentorship, coaching, and training abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
- Outstanding organizational skills and multitasking abilities.
- Self-starter and problem solver.
- Deadline-driven and goal-oriented.
- Positive attitude and customer-focused approach.
- Tact, good judgment, and discretion.
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Adaptability to changing assignments and multiple priorities.
