**Position Overview**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Install, terminate, and test low-voltage cabling (Cat5e, Cat6, coax, etc.)
- Mount, configure, and test CCTV/security cameras and related equipment
- Install and connect network video recorders (NVRs/DVRs) and associated devices
- Perform system troubleshooting and maintenance as needed
- Ensure installations meet industry standards and client requirements
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed
- Provide excellent customer service on-site

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in CCTV/security system installation and low-voltage cabling
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (IP addressing, device setup)
- Ability to read and follow construction drawings and wiring schematics
- Proficiency with hand and power tools
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills

**Preferred (Nice-to-Have)**
- Industry certifications (e.g., ESA, BICSI, Axis, Hikvision, Ubiquiti, etc.)
- Experience with access control systems and intercoms
- Basic IT/networking troubleshooting skills
- Working at heights certification or lift training

**Compensation & Schedule**
- Competitive contract rates based on experience
- Flexible scheduling with project-based assignments
- Opportunities for ongoing work with repeat projects

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- Low voltage installation: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Working at Heights Certificate (required)

**Location**:

- Sudbury, ON (preferred)
