Assistant Restaurant Manager

Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the restaurant, including managing staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining quality standards.
- Train and supervise restaurant staff, including servers, cooks, and dishwashers.
- Create employee schedules and assign duties to ensure efficient operation of the restaurant.
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the restaurant.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase restaurant sales and profitability.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new menu items and specials.
- Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role in the hospitality industry is required.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety regulations.
- Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems for order processing and inventory management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
