Reporting to the quality manager, accreditation programs, the quality coordinator is responsible for maintaining program indicators, coordinating and providing documentation support for the internal audit program, supporting and maintaining the document control system, providing administrative support and coordination for projects and initiatives, as well as creating and implementing sustainable program elements.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Duties include but are not limited to the following:
**Quality management systems program activities**
- ensure internal and external audit activities are accurately captured and tracked for timely completion and reporting
- coordinate and liaise with staff for the collection, measurement and reporting of key performance indicators and process indicators
- provide support for and monitor the document control system, including user management, collection and presentation of usage data and technical support
- establish and maintain effective relationships and ongoing communication with program staff, College departments and external stakeholders
- respond to inquiries in a professional and timely manner
- promote teamwork and share appropriate information with staff in a timely manner

**Quality improvement projects**
- supporting assigned project leads in the coordination of quality improvement projects and initiatives
- prepare materials for meetings and reviews
- collate and present relevant data, identify trends and key opportunities for improvement
- create and lead the transition of projects to program elements, including appropriate key performance indicators, tracking mechanisms, project metrics and follow

**Administrative support**
- distribute, collate, and file program related forms and documents
- update documents and reports with approved content, ensuring consistency of language and style; assist in the development of processes, procedures, forms, and other documents
- schedule and book various meetings including confirmation of guest attendance, distribution of materials, preparation of meeting space and technology as required
- provide administrative support to the program as required

**SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS**:
Required skills and qualifications include:

- 3-5 years experience in healthcare or another regulated environment; education in a healthcare field is preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- experience with quality improvement initiatives. Training or experience in quality management systems is an asset
- strong technical and computer skills: Proficient in Excel and competent in Office suite of products and Adobe. SharePoint, SQL, Power BI skills are assets. Capacity to learn and manage College software solutions
- able to work independently
- strong interpersonal and organizational skills. Proven, effective oral and written communication skills
- proficient in Excel and Word and can prepare accurate data and reports efficiently
- manage multiple streams of work and works effectively to scheduled deadlines
- proactively engages program team members as appropriate
- engages in curiosity and continuous process improvement as appropriate
- analytical and detail-oriented

The compensation range for this position is $54,453-$81,679. The compensation range is the span between the minimum and maximum base salary for a position. The midpoint of the range is approximately halfway between the minimum and the maximum and represents an employee that possesses full job knowledge, qualifications and experience for the position. In the normal course, employees will be hired, transferred or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the salary range for a job.
