**About us** **TWB is the leading supplier of Tailor Welded Blanks for the automotive market.** **As an Employer of Choice, we believe that our employees are our most important asset.** **Founded on the "Golden Rule", our goal is to treat our customers, employees, suppliers and shareholders the way we would want to be treated.** **We currently have the following open positions**: **1 opening: Material Handler / Forklift Operator** **(CONTINENTAL night shift - 7:30pm - 7:30am**) NO ROTATION** **Experience required, but license and training provided** **_TWB offers:_** $20/hr wage Medical and Dental Benefits (no cost to the employee) RRSP Matching (no waiting period) **_Lucrative Quarterly Profit Sharing_** **_New Hire Retention Program that could earn you $1,800 total after one year employment_** 2 weeks paid Vacation / Paid breaks OT after 40hrs / Double OT after 48hrs Continuing Education Assistance A positive team environment with a successful and growing company **_Reporting to the Materials Manager, your main responsibilities will include:_** - Working safely in a manufacturing environment. - Completion of all required daily safety checks; ability to work in a safe manner at all times. - Loading and Unloading of raw and finished goods materials onto trucks using forklift - Perform cycle count monthly and as needed to check inventory - Maintaining a clean and organized work area that adheres to applicable standards. - Shipping/Receiving duties as required, including all required paperwork and applicable use of computer systems. - Packaging of in-process and finished goods. - Use of an overhead crane as required. - Performing quality checks and verifications as required. - All other tasks as assigned including covering for production line driver during absence **_Technical Skills and Knowledge:_** - high school diploma - minimum 2 year experience driving a counterbalance forklift - basic math skills - strong communications and interpersonal skills - intermediate computer skills - ability to read and interpret drawings - performing tasks to a high level of accuracy and detail - ability to lift up to 50lbs occasionally - ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent **Salary**: $20.00 per hour **Benefits**: - Dental care - Extended health care - Paid time off - RRSP match - Vision care Schedule: - 12 hour shift Supplemental pay types: - Bonus pay - Overtime pay COVID-19 considerations: Protocols are in place Ability to commute/relocate: - Cambridge, ON N1T 2C7: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) **Experience**: - Forklift: 2 years (preferred) Work Location: In person
