Wellington Brewery is Canada's oldest independently owned microbrewery. Based in Guelph, Ontario, we craft our award-winning beers in small batches using the freshest all-natural ingredients. As an independent and locally owned brewery, we take pride in being an active member of the community, taking part in countless events and supporting charitable causes. **About the Job**:

- Operating packaging machinery in various stages of production
- Clean and fill kegs into required formats
- Take part in daily cleaning of all workspaces
- Safely adhere to daily clean in place (CIP) protocols
- Ability to perform QC checks on all packaged product while running the line
- Ensure daily packaging goals are met
- Set-up packaging station for daily requirements
- Perform other similar brewery related duties as required

**Skills crucial to success in this role**:

- Experience working in a production brewery, and/or driving a fork truck is an asset
- Be reliable and have a positive attitude
- Detail Oriented, self motivated and possesses the desire to take ownership, pride and accountability over tasks
- Ability to diligently follow instructions from the Packaging Manager and communicate clearly with team members
- Able to multitask in a fast-paced work environment
- Able to work a flexible schedule including starting early & working late when necessary
- Passion for all things Craft Beer and the craft beer industry is a must
- Must be at least 18 years old

**Working Environment**:

- Ability to frequently lift 55 pounds, occasionally manipulate 165 pounds, and be active for long periods of time (8-9hrs)
- Routine pushing, pulling, climbing, lifting, grasping, reaching using wrists, hands, shoulders and/or fingers
- Ability to work on work on slippery surfaces and exposure to noise
