We’re looking for a creative and energetic **Assistant Store Manager** responsible for ensuring that the store runs smoothly and profitably, and providing excellent customer service. You will report directly to the Store Manager and be responsible for leading other team members to achieve sales goals and maximize profitability. You will be responsible for helping with training and coaching sales associates who are knowledgeable about our products, engage with our customers and deliver an exceptional in-store experience.

Staff at River City Treats are on the pulse of trends in the treat world and are responsible for participating in creating fun, engaging, and share-worthy content (Reels, videos, and photos) that boosts brand awareness, increases engagement, and brings the magic of River City Treats to life online.

**What We’re Looking For**:

- Sales, marketing or retail experience preferably with supervisory responsibilities
- Experience in merchandising, food labelling/packaging or related food production/merchandising skills
- Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions
- Knowledge of social media and digital marketing trends
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Experience managing social media platforms, especially Instagram and TikTok
- Strong skills in photography, video shooting/editing, and storytelling
- Creative mindset with a passion for trends, food, and fun content
- Excellent written and visual communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
- Bonus: Experience with Canva, CapCut, or other content creation tools

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in managing day-to-day store operations and achieve sales targets
- Create a positive and engaging environment for both customers and associates
- Develop and execute strategies to drive traffic and sales, including social media and community outreach programs
- Ensure that the store is visually appealing and merchandised to showcase our products effectively
- Monitor inventory levels and work with the Store Manager to manage inventory
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations
- Quality control of food packaging and labelling for crafted products
- Plan, create, and post daily content (Reels, short-form videos, and photos) that aligns with our brand voice and seasonal promotions
- Stay on top of trends and viral formats to keep our content fresh, fun, and relevant
- Drive engagement through interactive stories, giveaways, behind-the-scenes content, and customer features
- Collaborate with in-store staff to capture authentic moments and showcase new products
- Building custom gift baskets and giveaway products packages
